Three step approach to eliminate food waste
Closing time in the food store is approaching. The manager, however, notices several tasty and high-quality products are still available. They will be thrown out in an hour. What a waste!
Luckily, FoodAllios comes to the rescue. Our manager uploads the food on the FoodAllios platform, where the information gets stored and the FoodAllios consumers get informed about their availability in a discounted price.
Our conscious consumer, dressed in their FoodAllios cape, makes the order and the food gets saved, giving the consumer the credit for the financial and environmental gains produced. The financial transaction is also finished. Still, there is some way left to enjoy this extra tasty food.
However, all food is not saved. The manager stores the unsaved food, apart from a storage spot, in the FoodAllios data bank, so that businesses and organizations working towards waste valorization can come and pick it up.
The FoodAllios customer goes to the food store, where the manager, happy to have saved food and CO2 emissions, scans the QR-Code on the FoodAllios app and hands out the FoodAllios bag with the high-quality meal.
The next day, the FoodAllios waste valorization partner will show up at the store to take care of saving the planet in their own way, after the corresponding necessary processing.
